Our Exhibits
Rainforest Adventures
Rainforest Adventures teaches children about the importance of rainforests around the world and right here in Hawai‘i. Through hands‑on exploration, keiki learn about our precious natural resources, island ecosystems, and why caring for the environment matters.
The exhibit also includes our Little Explorers area, designed especially for children from birth to age 3. With safe, age‑appropriate activities and sensory play, it’s the perfect space for toddlers to discover, explore, and learn at their own pace.
Please note that Rainforest Adventures closes 30 minutes earlier than our normal operational hours.

Your Town
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a firefighter, mechanic, or even the star of your own show? In Your Town, kids can try on real‑world roles, explore how a community works, and discover all the things they can become in this bustling pretend‑play neighborhood

Fantastic You!
Get ready to discover the wonders happening inside your body every day. In Fantastic You!, children learn how their bodies work through hands‑on, health‑focused play. This exhibit also features the Tot Spot, a cozy play area designed especially for children 5 and under.

Hawaiian Rainbows
Explore what makes life in Hawai‘i so unique and special. Keiki can pick pineapples in a plantation‑style general store, fly to the neighbor islands on our Hawaiian Airlines airplane, load cargo onto a giant container ship, and discover the many cultures and industries that shape island life in the Hawaiian Rainbows Gallery.

Your Rainbow World
Explore a rainbow of cultures, countries, and celebrations from beyond our island shores. Kids can “travel” to places like Japan, China, Vietnam, South Korea, and the Philippines to see how life is both similar and different around the world. In Your Rainbow World, children discover new traditions, explore global customs, and celebrate the diversity that connects us all through imaginative play.

House Rules
For your safety and enjoyment, please observe the following rules.

Children and adults should stay together at all times. Children should never be left unattended or unsupervised.
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children. Please encourage children to walk, use their indoor voices, and share with others. The center can get very busy at times so strollers need to be parked in the lobby before entering the exhibit galleries.
We encourage active exploration and touching with gentle hands. When you are done playing with something please put it back and cleanup.
To help us keep the center clean, please enjoy food, gum, and drinks outside. Please change diapers in the designated areas in the restrooms.
To get the most out of your visit as a family, please refrain from using your cell phones in the galleries and limit use for photos or emergencies only. Playing with your child is a gift that they will remember forever!
