Early Childhood Programs
Childhood is a time when early learners acquire many of the skills they will need to become productive, happy adults. We offer part-day programs year around designed to give a fun, educational experience to your toddlers and preschoolers, 18 months to 5 years old. Our classes are run by museum and classroom educators and will spark your keiki’s curiosity, allow them to interact with peers, and give them a memorable first-time classroom experience.
Toddler
Time
(18-36 months + Caregiver)
Toddler Time is an early childhood program for toddlers ages 18–36 months and their caregivers. Each weekly class includes songs, stories, sensory play, and creative activities that support early language, motor, and social development. Toddlers also enjoy gentle socialization with other young children, practicing sharing, turn‑taking, and early friendship skills in a warm, supportive environment. Offered once a week in four‑week sessions on Thursdays and Saturday mornings, this parent‑child program provides a joyful introduction to learning through play and is a wonderful first step before Preschool Playtime and STEAM Lab.

Preschool Playtime
(3-4 year olds
Preschool Playtime offers your 3–4‑year‑old a meaningful first preschool experience through a structured, play‑based early learning program. This part-time program leads keiki in hands‑on experiments, daily outdoor and gallery exploration, and activities that build early responsibility skills like following routines and working cooperatively. Each month features a new theme that sparks curiosity and deepens understanding. This year‑round, drop‑off program supports social‑emotional growth, early problem‑solving, and school‑readiness, and it naturally prepares children for the STEAM Lab.

STEAM Lab
(4-5 year olds)
STEAM Lab is a part‑time preschool program for children ages 4–5 that blends Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics through hands‑on, play‑based learning. Each month children dive into a new theme, engaging in rich art experiences, exciting science experiments, early engineering activities, and collaborative problem-solving projects. This year‑round program builds curiosity, confidence, and kindergarten‑readiness skills in a warm, child‑centered environment.
