There are many ways to support our work at the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center. One way is through in-kind contributions of items that enhance our exhibits, support our educational programs, or aid in administrative functions. The following items reflect some of the current needs of our Center. Items to be used in the exhibit galleries need to be new or in nearly new condition and suitable for children to use in play. Exhibits Children's Costumes Cultural items for our ethnic houses (costumes, artifacts, games, household items, etc.) Audio/Video equipment (Amplifiers, CD/DVD players, Matrix Mixers etc.) New Children's books Sign & Label making equipment Office Equipment Computers (Pentium class PC / IMac / G3 or equivalent) Overhead projector Printer Facilities / Maintenance Building Supplies (plywood, corian, plastic laminate) Heavy duty shelving Shop equipment (Metal and Woodworking Tools and Equipment) Washing Machine/Dryer For further information on making a contribution to the Center please call 524-KIDS.
