Hawaii Children's Discovery Center

The staff at the Children's Discovery Center looks forward to working with you to make your child's birthday a very special day! Please note that, starting in April, we will only be able to accommodate indoor party rentals due to construction on the building.

Birthday Bash
$15 per person (ages 1+)
$13 per person for Members

Includes:
• Use of a party room for 2 hours (10:00-12:00/12:30-2:30)
• All day admission to the Center
• *1 carousel ride for each child (based on availability)
• 1 helium balloon for each child.
• Tables, Tablecloths, and chairs
• Trash cans and trash bags

* 4:1 child/adult ratio required

Birthday Extravaganza
$20 per person (ages 1+)
$18 per person for Members

• Pizza and juice for each guest.

• Craft activity

Carousel Guidelines
The maximum height to ride our vintage carousel is 4' (48")

Party Guidelines
• Reservations must be made at least 1 month prior to reservation date. A $75 security deposit must be made to reserve a party date. This security deposit will be reimbursed after the Center determines no damage or additional cleanup is necessary. In the event of a cancellation, your $75 security deposit is non-refundable.
• In order to maintain our Center, all consumption of food and drinks must be confined to the birthday party area.
• All payments must be by cash or check only.
• Hawaii Children's Discovery Center memberships or discount passes to reflect free or reduced admission may not be applied to birthday parties.
• The party room must be vacated promptly at the end of the reserved time period. The party area must be left clean and free of any food and/or trash.
• It is very important that we get a final head count at least 2 days prior to the Party. Anyone who attends the party will be charged and should be included in this count, regardless of whether or not they visit the exhibit galleries.
• Due to the size and special features that our Center has to offer, we require the presence of active, supervising adults in the ratio of 4:1. Children will not be allowed in the exhibit galleries without adult supervision.
